Bob de Wit and Ron Meyer ,
Strategy Academy and Strategy Works in The Netherlands

Bob and Ron have identified 10 strategy paradoxes (polarities), which show up in reviewing the literature on strategy. For them paradox is at the heart of being strategic. Their textbook, Strategy - Process, Content, Context has become the leading strategy textbook for universities in Europe and Australia. They have also written a shorter, non-textbook version called Strategy Synthesis.

The synergy arrows spiraling toward the "Higher Purpose" came from the Strategy Academy. They also pointed out the need to focus on innovative synthesis possibilities when looking at "Green Flags" for both poles.
